 At Dexter’s Dogs, boarding is not really a separate service - it's a natural extension of the care our dogs already receive every day.

Our boarding is available exclusively to dogs who attend our daycare, allowing us to offer an overnight experience that prioritises familiarity, emotional well-being, and continuity of care above all else.

Dogs thrive on routine, known environments, and familiar people.

Because our boarding guests already attend daycare with us, they:

• Know the space
   
• Know the routines
   
• Know the people caring for them

• Know the other dogs
   
• Feel settled before the night even begins
   

There are no introductions, no adjustments, and no disruption - just the same calm environment they experience every day.

This continuity is the foundation of everything we do.

Boarding takes place in our home,  just as daycare does.

Overnight, dogs are cared for in a calm setting where comfort is prioritised.

Each dog sleeps where they feel most comfortable:

• In their own bed or quiet space
   
• Or, if they prefer, in our rooms - including on our beds
   

This choice is always led by the dog.

For many dogs, this level of closeness mirrors life at home and allows them to settle deeply .

Please note:  puppies always stay in our rooms

This approach to boarding is extremely uncommon.

We are only able to offer this experience because:

• Boarding is limited to regular daycare dogs
   
• We care for a small, carefully managed group
   
• We never introduce unfamiliar dogs overnight
   
• Every dog is already known to us exceptionally well
   

This is not about luxury for its own sake — it’s about creating the safest, calmest possible overnight experience.
