We all want the same thing for our dogs when we can't be with them - a safe pair of hands to care for them.

That's what we offer here at our small, friendly and highly experienced daycare in Borehamwood.
We are tucked away in a quiet cul- de-sac right by the beautiful Red Road Park. With rolling fields and woods, it's a real paradise for pooches!
We offer all the comforts of home, with large squashy sofas and luxurious pet beds, plus a secure and private garden.
And as there are two of us, our guest dogs are NEVER left alone.
Our ethos is simple: we provide the type of care we would want our own dogs to experience.
And because we keep our numbers low, and there are two of us always here, each dog enjoys a level of attention that is unrivalled and really valued by our clients.
We are both lifelong dog owners, and we have each fostered and rescued several times.
Over the past fourteen years, we have been privileged to care for many different types and breeds.
Most of our daycare regulars started coming here as young puppies and we have watched them mature into wonderful adult dogs.
Seeing the friendships that develop between them is a real joy to behold.
Any new members of the group are carefully vetted to ensure that only soft-natured, sociable dogs become part of the gang :)
We take the responsibility of looking after people's precious dogs very seriously.

In addition, I have done numerous dog training courses with the IMDT (Institute of Modern Dog Training)
Our daycare dogs enjoy wonderful walks and we do recall training with all of them, using both whistles and verbal cues.
Safety is always our top priority and we only allow dogs off lead once we have established a really solid recall with them.
Some of our dogs love a lively game of Frisbee!
If your dog is nervous to the point where there is a risk of their bolting, or has a high prey/hunting drive, they must remain ON lead with us at all times.

We are with them the entire time, monitoring and guiding them, and ensuring that each dog has the right amount of stimulation and enrichment, as well as rest periods.

Our guest dogs love coming for sleepovers! They stay in our rooms and on our beds, or in one of the many comfy pet beds which we provide.
Overnights are exclusively for our weekly daycare dogs.

The meet and greet is a walk so that I can assess how a dog responds to other pups, people, joggers, and the world in general.
It also gives me an idea of a dog's energy level and offers a chance for owners to discuss their dog's needs.

All of our pups get plenty of individual attention and we do recall training with all of them, using both whistles and verbal cues.
All daycare dogs wear a collar with our mobile number on, as well as ID tags with all of our details. We only allow a dog off lead once we have established a solid recall with them.
